Chamlong's Asoke Vegan Restaurant

On Tuesday, while zipping down the highway towards J's office, modern technology allowed us to surf the Happy Cow Veggie iPhone app looking for a place to grab lunch. After stopping to ask directions multiple times, we discovered the largest collection of vegan food stalls in Bangkok: Chamlong's Asoke Vegan Restaurant. It's an open air buffet managed by the Santi Asok buddhist sect called The Dharma Practitioner Association. They served fresh juices, soups, noodle dishes, sticky buns, curry pockets, soy milks, and organic produce. We left smiling with full bellies. Needless to say, we will be frequent patrons!

After visiting their FB page, I found the humorous and extremely helpful directions. I'll keep these handy so we can find our way back for more mock duck, fresh soup in a bag, and organic Durrian!

*Only kidding about the Durrian. Been there, done that, lesson learned.
